Immersed in the Ionian Sea, the coast below Taormina, Isola Bella is a charming island of modest size, became a tourist attraction for those who spend their holidays in Taormina. Currently it passed to be a nature reserve, protected by the WWF. In the early '900, the island was purchased by a high-ranking aristocratic family until her story was not profoundly affected. Lady Florence Trevelyan Cacciola, settled in Taormina after her marriage, she decided to devote her attention to the island, taking advantage of her great passion for plants. The island was soon and her total initiative reforested with subtropical plants of absolute value and undisputed value.

The result is a spectacular sight, a kind of Garden of Eden where a particularly lush Mediterranean vegetation and wildlife coexist and blends with subtropical vegetation varied and colorful, characterized by numerous shrubs and very particular tropical flowers. Its history changes further in the '40s when the island was purchased by a family of industrialists who proceeded to the immediate construction of a villa. The dwelling is wedged between the rocks and covered by dense vegetation and certainly helps to make it even more impressive and intriguing panorama.
