Taormina offers a remarkable variety of shops where you can buy characteristic items of local artisans. You can choose between the famous ceramics of Caltagirone or objects in lava stone (pietra lavica). Or hand embroidery. Among the artistic and cultural events, shows and events we remember one in particular: the celebrations of July 9 for the patron of the town, San Pancrazio.

The most important event and most followed remains, however, Taormina Arte, whose appointments, which relate to the cinema, theater and music, wind during the entire year. Within this project takes place the prestigious Film Festival, a series of international films screened in the beautiful scenery of the Greek.
